Department of Geotechnology

On Wednesday 1 August, two senior students from the Department of Geotechnology, Mr. Wasin Supapan and Mr. Kankanon Sakmongkoljt, received scholarships from Banpu Public Company Ltd. at the head quarter office in Bangkok.

 

For this year, the company handed out 14 scholarships covering 3 subject fields which are geology, mining engineering, and accounting. The scholars were selected from leading  universities throughout the country.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, educational supplies, and living expenses for the entire fourth year.

​

The ceremony activity consisted of handing out the scholarships by the company's executive followed by a speech from Mr. Witthawas Wongbat, a former scholarship recipient, who is a current employee at Banpu and also an alumni of the Department of Geotechnology.
