Department of Geotechnology

On Friday 30 March 2018, the Department of Geotechnology was visited by representatives from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to present their Master's and Doctoral degree programs in Geotechnical and Earth Resources Engineering (GTE) and Geosystem Exploration & Petroleum Geoengineering (GEPG).

Associate Professor Dr. Pham Huy Giao, the Program Chair, and Associate Professor Dr. Kuo-Chieh (Geoff) Chao, a faculty member, together with current AIT Master's degree students (some of which are geotech alumni) gave a very interesting presentation about the study program, AIT life, and scholarship opportunities.

The activity was given high interest by many 4th year students whom are soon to be graduating. The audience also consisted of current graduate students, 3rd year students, and faculty members.

​

By the end of the presentation, it seems that not only the geotech students are interested in furthering their education at AIT but also the faculty members as well :D
